PIB FC played one of the great attacking football by beating Ultimate FC 3-0 in a match that saw Ultimate FC concedes goals and suffered their first lose of the season in an epic showdown at Stadium Perbandaran Ampang Jaya (MPAJ) tonight.
PIB FC starts the game well when a powerful run from the left wing saved by Ultimate FC goalkeeper as he came out quickly to block the shot. Ultimate FC looks inferior with their star player Firdaus Selvam who didn’t feature in today’s match.
PIB took the advantage to score from a penalty spot on the 13th minutes when Mohd Razren Mohd Jasni being fouled inside the penalty box. Mohd Faizul Herman converts from the spot to give PIB’s first goal of the match.
Ultimate FC did a lot of damage on the wing with the pace of Philip Abbah and the physical present of Faye Jacque but they wasted too many chances. The side who look more sharp and dangerous is PIBs front 3, causing all the damage during the counter attack. More effective but luckily no goal scored until the second half.
2nd half
PIB fantastic front 3 once again allowed them to score their second goal of the night on 41st minutes, starting from a powerful run from Faizal Herman on the left wing and supplying a low cross for Razren Mohd Jasni to finish. Just 4 minutes after that, PIB quick counter attack again turn into goal this time and Razren turn the provider for Satul Amri Mustafa to get his name on the scoresheet.
An extraordinary scoreline forced Ultimate FC to push their panic button but it just won’t click. UFC had numerous attempt on goal and would probably score more than 5 goals tonight if not for PIB’s No 1 shotstopper, Mohammad Noor Hafi Che Haron. He had made his present well know, with many fantastic saves & well timing decision to come out to punch and block shots. Marvel studios won’t need CGI if they got the real Spiderman that can do all the hard work.
Ultimate FC had around 7 chances to score goals on the second half but failed to convert any of those chances. UFC’s had 3 golden chances during the last 10 minutes was stopped by world class performance from Noor Hafiz.
The absentee of Firdaus Selvam makes Ultimate FC look vulnerable but one of the big reason they’re very ineffective in front of goal is probably because the was no Chuwku Chijioke leading their attacking line in a very important match.
Ultimate FC will look to bounce back after losing without scoring a single goal. PIB comfortable win should send a message to all team that the beast had already awake.
