PIB FC scored 2 late goals to secure a dramatic 2-1 win over Rose FC in the last matchday on matchweek 2 at MPAJ Stadium.
PIB FC starts the game more aggressively as by having a few attempts on goal. They had a goal disallowed from a corner kick on the 7 minutes because of offside position. Rose FC forced to make an early substitution when their goalkeeper Asymawi Ramli unable to continue because of injury.
A young Rose FC side somehow able to find their feet and tame PIB’s aggressiveness and to create some chances for themselves but wasted some golden chances due to poor decision making by the attacker.
PIB attacker Norismaidham Ismail had about 3 decent chances but unable to find net as it goes wide and a few goes straight to the keeper.
2nd half
Rose FC starts the second-half better than PIB with few chances had been created. On the 52 minutes their lovely move came to waste when the Rose’s striker shot is weak and going wide. An unexpected moment saw PIB scored an own goal to give Rose FC the first goal of the match after the ball hit the crossbar and went into the net.
PIB also had their golden chances on the 60 minutes when Muhd Nor Hakim misque the shot after Rose’s defenders mistakes in dealing with the crosses. These 2 side won’t bend down and the game begin to change in the last 5 minutes of the match.
When Rose FC feels like their flower begin to bloom into victory, PIB FC finally get their equalizing goal on the 65 minutes from Ahmad Faizal Sumar effort receiving a low cross from the left wing Mohd Faizul Herman.
From trailing 1-0 down, PIB’s Norismaidham Ismail finally register his name on the score sheet and scored the winning goal on the 68 minutes, again from a Faizul Herman assist.
A crucial win for PIB FC and a total heartbreak for Rose FC as they concedes 2 goals in the last 5 minutes of the match.
